With a short stumpy profile, the Chook range was designed for the short rigger and short corner. A straight runner with a very active action since it hit the water in late 1980’s, the Chook series has earned itself a legendary reputation with the records backing it up. It also has the First Grand Slam in the World in the New Millennium on its honour roll, three striped, a black and a blue (180kg) on the 3/1/2000 off Jervis Bay.
These lures are custom made for BTS and include an insert made from only first-class shell.
All lures in the Chook series are perfectly keel weighted and come with attached Crimp Lock free of charge to you.
Works well in any position but generally better closer to the transom than other longer headed lures. Try the short corner or short outrigger first.
Available in numerous head colours and 3 sizes all with superior shell used on the inserts. Please note that not all head designs are available in all sizes.

We customise all rigs to the lure you have purchased to ensure the lures maximum potential to catch fish for you.

We incorporate a marine grade stainless shackle if appropriate wherever possible so hooks can be changed conveniently.
