NAI OCEAN LURES are handcrafted one by one in Florida, USA. Each lure is hand painted using a unique mix of high tech metallic and holographic reflective acrylic that transitions the colour spectrum depending on the lure head position to the light source. This results in a near echo of a living fish in all its vibrant beauty. Put succinctly…..the lure looks like a fish. The images shown on this page cannot accurately capture the stunning results displayed in each lure that leaves the Nai workshop.
The BABY MAHI MAHI is perfectly keel weighted and can be trolled at 10 knots+ depending on conditions and distance from the boat. This is the perfect lure to have in your pattern if you target Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin and White Marlin along with all the Tuna species such as Yellowfin.
The hand construction of this lure begins with a brass tube which the weighted fish insert surrounds. The fish insert is actually elliptical in shape to mimic more closely the true nature of a fish head and features realistic eyes, fins, gill slits and markings of the fish species the lure represents. After meticulous hand painting, each lure head is then finished with a high luster epoxy resin to protect the stunning paint work.
