The TIAMAT Thrasher is a heavily keel-weighted, tapered trolling lure featuring a distinctive, sharply angled face commonly referred to as a hard cut.
While many conventional trolling lures feature face angles of 80 degrees or more, the Thrasher’s aggressive face angle of less than 70 degrees sets it apart, generating an exceptionally active swimming action designed to command the attention of passing game fish.
Its oversized face displaces substantial amounts of water, while the tapered head profile, narrowing towards the skirt collar, produces an intense, vigorous head shake throughout its trolling cycle. The result is a powerful combination of water displacement, surface commotion and underwater vibration.
Although highly effective in calm conditions, the Thrasher truly comes into its own when the seas become unsettled. Its distinctive design makes it an outstanding choice in choppy conditions and rolling swells, where maintaining an enticing lure action can be challenging.

For best results, we recommend initially positioning the Thrasher on the Short Corner or Long Corner, then adjusting its placement to achieve optimum performance.
