How much do I need? – For a lure with a head diameter less than 20mm only one pack of Flashabou would be required. For a lure head with a diameter between 20mm to 30mm you would require two packs. Larger than 30mm would require three packs. This advice are estimates of course and the desired thickness of the Flashabou will depend on your preference.
Also, a lot of angler’s skirt both shoulders of the lure head with Flashabou. We find this completely unnecessary and just a waste of Flashabou plus it only raises your anxiety levels. You only need to skirt the first shoulder of the lure for Flashabou to take the required effect.
